Opened in 1992 when a group of dedicated child abuse providers and volunteers set out to find a more compassionate and effective way to bring services to Collin County children victimized by abuse. From its humble beginnings, the Center has grown to become a nationally recognized Strategic Alliance. This strong public-private collaboration has significantly reduced the trauma associated with reporting child abuse while holding offenders accountable. Since its inception, the Center has offered services to over 32,000 children and their non-offending family members free of charge.
